TV ANTENNA SERVICES
LOCAL CREW. NO FRANCHISE RUNAROUND.
From new antenna installs to Starlink, wall mounts to signal boosters — Dave handles it all across Mandurah. One call, sorted.
New Antenna Installation
Need an antenna installed in Mandurah? I’ll set it up for reliable reception, not “works today, drops out tomorrow”. With the weaker baseline signal down this way, the right antenna choice and clean cabling matters.
- Antenna selection tuned for weaker fringe reception (Mandurah isn’t right next door to Perth towers)
- Mounting and aiming to reduce dropouts caused by wind + coastal weather
- Waterway/canal reflection issues accounted for (some spots get ghosting/pixelation patterns)
- New-estate cabling checks in Lakelands/Madora Bay where builder installs can be pretty average
From around $299 for standard single-storey. We quote once we see it.
Starlink Satellite Internet
Starlink is a ripper option around Mandurah — especially in growing estates where the internet can lag behind the house builds. I’ll mount it solid, keep the run neat, and set it up so it just works (which is what most people want — especially the retirees who don’t want to muck around with apps and resets).
- Dish placement planning for clear sky view (avoiding trees and awkward roof angles)
- Proper weatherproof cable routing in salty, damp coastal air
- Clean internal entry and tidy router placement (central spot, better coverage)
- Basic setup support: connect, update, and confirm you’ve got a stable link
You supply the Starlink kit — we handle the install. Roof, wall, or pole mount depending on what gives you the clearest view of the sky.
TV Wall Mounting
If you’ve got a new TV going into a canal-front living room at Halls Head, a unit near the foreshore, or a family home in Meadow Springs, I’ll mount it straight, solid, and tidy.
- Secure mounting into double-brick walls (common in older Mandurah/Dudley Park area)
- Plasterboard cavity mounting options for newer builds in Lakelands/Madora Bay
- Bracket choice based on glare and viewing angle (big windows + water reflections are common here)
- Full hook-up: HDMI devices, soundbar, streaming setup, and tidy cable management
We supply quality brackets or use yours — either way it's rated for your TV's weight. From 32-inchers in the kitchen through to 85-inch units in the theatre room. Cables hidden in the wall where possible, or neat white conduit when they can't be chased in.
Extra TV Points
Want a TV point added in the spare room, the alfresco, or the granny flat? I’ll run it properly so you don’t lose half your channels once you split the signal.
- New TV outlets with quality RG6 cabling (better for longer runs across bigger Mandurah blocks)
- Proper distribution planning for 2, 3, or 4 TV setups
- Neat wall plates and clean finishes (no messy holes and silicone blobs)
- Test each outlet so every room gets consistent reception
Each new point is run with proper RG6 quad-shield cable — the good stuff that doesn't leak signal. If you're going from one TV to three or four, we'll check whether your antenna can handle the split or if a booster is needed.
Signal Boosters & Amplifiers
Because Mandurah reception often starts weaker, boosters get talked about a lot — but the trick is using them only where they actually help.
- Signal testing first (strength AND quality — strength alone is a trap)
- Distribution amps for multi-TV homes to keep levels balanced across points
- Replacement of failed old amps that cause random dropouts and “works at night only” nonsense
- Filters added where mobile interference is chewing up certain channels
Every time you split a signal to another TV point, you lose strength. Once you're past three points, most homes need a booster. We test your signal levels and install the right amplifier — not an overkill unit, just what your setup actually needs.
Antenna Repairs
Most Mandurah antenna problems I see are either age + weather related, or a simple cabling fault that’s been slowly getting worse.
- Corroded fittings and water ingress repairs (coastal air + damp roof spaces)
- Antenna realignment after storms and strong winds off the coast
- Fault finding on older cabling in established pockets around the Mandurah CBD / Greenfields / Dudley Park
- Fixing “missing channels” issues that show up after renovations or new TV installs
Most repairs from around $155. We quote before touching anything.
